“ We drove into town for a wedding (from Alabama) and needed a good spot to eat. We took a chance on Dexter BBQ, but as they say, "with high risk comes high reward." We were greeted by a nice host ready to take our order. And we were overwhelmed by the huge portion size for a very reasonable price. The pork steak was incredible with the caramelized rub on it. And all the sauces were great additions to our excellent meals. Great job and keep up the great work! ”
“ Wednesday is always chicken day. I've been trying to be in town (mostly Farmington), but I was in Jackson around 130. Been waiting for a month and a half. They were out of chicken and would have some around 430. I settled for small rib dinner with fried okra and potato salad. My wife had pulled pork and potato salad. Both fantastic and the staff were friendly and helpful. Still wanted the chicken, it's the best. ”

“ This place is absolutely amazing! Best beef brisket and ribs in the area. The chicken is also incredible! Not sure why, but this location in Jackson is head and shoulders above other locations I've eaten at... The one in Cape is hit or miss and the employees are usually not very happy... The one in Dexter was terrible... But the manager must be really good at the Jackson location because the staff is so friendly and the food is always amazing with ample portions! Great job! ”

It's relatively cheap and just oh so good...we travel from perryville just to get a bite to eat here. ....the fried corn on the cob is a must try for anyone visiting Dexter bbq...we love it and we will revisit this location as often as we can afford to,every chance we get,thanks Dexter bbq for your services..we do appreciate it ”
